guess what! I’ve started journaling again! Well, it’s more of a “training log” but I’m writing nonetheless and that’s what counts. It’s also so much more than just tracking my mileage, my times, and whatever physiological data I can gather from my fancy Garmin watch.
For some context, I’m running Canyons 100k in late April, about 19 weeks from today. In an effort to optimize my training and process all the spiraling thoughts that I get every week, I’ve started journaling again. I need a written log of what I’m doing every week to make sure I’m eating enough, resting enough, and having fun enough.
So here I am. A space to compile all my inner ramblings of “am I good enough? Why am I doing this?” as well as transforming the weekly metrics into a digestible story to adapt from.
